We’re offering a sleek Porsche 930 Turbo that boasts impeccable condition with no history of accidents. The tub and undercarriage exhibit no signs of impact or off-road damage, and rust is completely absent.
Interior:
The original clock has been replaced with a boost gauge, featuring new Recaro seats, RS door panels, and a fresh leather dash. A custom stereo with an amplifier in the trunk enhances the interior.
Body:
The car features a new windshield (August 2002), an added right-side mirror, and a front-mounted fan-type external oil cooler. The Carrera style lower front valence panel incorporates insert-style fog lights. The rear deck lid, designed to accommodate the intercooler, follows the style of the 1979 and later models. Euro clear lenses grace the front, and a Renn Line 2-piece strut tower brace adds to the body’s stability.
Suspension:
Equipped with a full coil-over 935-style monoball suspension, Bilstein struts, and shocks with Eibach springs (installed November 2007), the rear shocks were rebuilt by Bilstein USA in October 2007. The suspension was corner-balanced and aligned after the installation of the new springs. TRG front and rear adjustable sway bars with new drop links, as well as welded rear sway bar consoles, enhance the suspension system.
Steering:
The full tubular 935-style steering system includes a bump stop kit, paired with a 930 S-type steering wheel.
Brakes:
Featuring 993 Twin Turbo front brakes and 911 Turbo rear brakes, the car is equipped with a 1989 Turbo-type brake booster and pedal cluster, an addition not present in the 1976 model.
Wheels and Tires:
Custom-built HRE wheels with Fuchs centers measure 11 1/2″ x 17″ at the rear and 9″ x 17″ at the front. The tires are sized 245/35 in the front and 315/30 in the rear.
Engine:
With an engine rebuilt at 189,349 km, now translating to 127,000 miles (204,780 km), the car boasts 360 hp at the rear wheels and 324 lb-ft torque. It features an intercooled K27 7200 Turbo, B&B exhaust with heater boxes, and various enhancements such as ARP bolts, SC spec camshafts, balanced and cross-drilled crankshaft, surfaced heads, new guides and seals, and a host of other upgrades.
Transmission:
The 1972 915 transmission, rebuilt by T&D, ensures smooth and reliable performance.
